Gold Wars 2, at 2 weeks old.I found an item called "Seasoned Wood Log" (before it was devalued) and begin flipping it. It had such a low profit, I mean a few copper at a time. That normally would not been worth anyone's time. However, it was the 12th most traded item on the entire trading post but because it wasn't under '10th most traded' it didn't show up on the home screen of the trading post.
I was able to flip Seasoned Wood Log in such massive quantities that I went from 1 to 5 in less than 72 hours on that item alone.
Although I had monopolized the market for Season Wood Log, there was a problem. I wasn't the only one. After people started seeing I was placing buy orders of 8,000 Seasoned Wood Log at a time, they began ruthlessly undercutting me. Soon the market was lost and I couldn't make a profit. A solution dawned on me. What if I could invest 8,000 buy orders over several items at a time. This way, I'd still make the same amount of gold, just as quick, without any worries about competition. It was the perfect strategy.
I then set out to make a tool that would allow me to quickly identify items on the trading post with a good profit percentage and such was the birth of Gold Wars 2.
